Water Analysis
Captain Michael Yocco is the well-known owner-operator of the MJ’s. Having fished at a high level his whole life, he has fished all over the world and holds the distinction of being the winningest tuna fisherman in the offshore fishing tournaments.
Michael was and still is a true pioneer of Bigeye Tuna fishing having developed many techniques, utilities and lures that are now commonplace today. Having fished his own boat his whole career, his knowledge was acquired the hard way—through personal trial and error, formulating independent success on the water.
Michael is known in the fishing industry for having an uncanny ability to read water and interpret future fishing conditions from satellite shots. Captain Mike is, one of the most dynamic captains in the world.

Captain Cody Melton has spent most of his life on the water, earning his captain’s license at just 21 years old. His extensive experience in offshore fishing is an asset to Fintel, extending our reach to southern fisheries.

As an avid fisherman, Chris decided to take it to the next level by using his years of experience to help other fish enthusiasts get their “Big Fish” story. Talkin’ Trash made its debut to the sea in 2015 and has been a force to be reckoned with since it hit the water. In 2016, Talkin’ Trash was one of the Top 5 Tuna Charter boats catching 300+ tuna.
